A DOCUMENTARY about the sinking of a Royal Navy ship off Orkney duuring the Second World War is being screened by STV next week, courtesy of a co-production with The History Channel.
The Sinking of the Royal Oak marks the 70th anniversary of the sinking of HMS Royal Oak, by a German U-boat, when it was anchored in Scapa Flow in Orkney.
Narrated by Taggart star, Alex Norton, the documentary will broadcast on STV on Tuesday at 9pm and the next day at 8pm on The History Channel, which is available on cable.
