ENTRIES are being invited for this year’s Scottish Magazine Awards, which are taking place in November.
A deadline of the 28th of next month has been set by organisers, the Periodical Publishers Association, with prizes available in 17 categories, plus the overall ‘Scottish magazine of the year’ title.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Edinburgh on November 26.
The judging panel is being chaired this year by Mike Soutar, managing director of ShortList media, the publishers of the free, ShortList magazine.
The final nominations will be unveiled on October 16.
The categories are:
Best magazine design: business and professional
Best magazine design: consumer
Brand development of the year
Best online magazine or presence
Sales Performance of the Year
Editor of the year: business and professional
Feature writer of the year: business and professional
Editor of the year: consumer
Feature writer of the year: consumer
Columnist of the year
Publisher of the year
Best small publishing company magazine
Member magazine of the year
Staff magazine of the year
Business and professional magazine of the year
Customer magazine of the year
Consumer magazine of the year
