FORMER Downing Street ‘spin doctor’, Alastair Campbell, is to speak at a conference on the need for increased communications and PR during a recession.
Taking place in September in Edinburgh, the event will also feature Milorad Adjer, the managing director of survey and research organisation, Ipsos MORI.
Say the organisers, MacKay Hannah, good communications adds value during the ‘good times’ and are critical during the bad, and that communications should be taken as seriously as finance and HR in the board room.
Campbell is billed as ‘former spokesman, press secretary and director of communications and strategy to Prime Minister, Tony Blair’.
