THE Scottish & Universal group of newspapers – including titles such as the Paisley Daily Express, the Perthshire Advertiser and the East Kilbride News – has a new managing director.
Bill Steven has succeeded Alex Cargill, who retired at the end of last year, after 34 years with owners, Trinity Mirror.
Steven was previously S&UN’s commercial director and has been interim managing director since December. He has been with Trinity Mirror for 26 years.
