THE photographer on a BBC Scotland TV series has won a major award for his work.
Neville Kidd’s photography on ‘A history of Scotland’ beat off the challenge of programmes on BBC Two, Channel 4 and Sky1 to take the ‘Photography factual’ category at the BAFTA Craft Awards on Sunday evening.
He was up against Bruce Parry’s Amazon, The Victorian Sex Explorer and Ross Kemp in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, the crime drama series, Wallander – exec-produced by BBC Scotland’s head of drama, Anne Mensah – took four titles on the night:
