A RECORD 3,100 entries have been received by a competition celebrating the best in last year’s Scottish press photographers.
Organisers of the 2008 First ScotRail Press Photography Awards yesterday confirmed the awards have attracted a record number of entries, up from just below 3,000 this time 12 months ago.
The winners of the competition’s 14 categories will be announced at a ceremony in Glasgow on the 26th of next month.
