A WORK-to-rule is to begin next Tuesday at The Herald group, following a ballot of staff, conducted by the National Union of Journalists.
Called for amid concerns about under-staffing and stress – and in light of another round of cost-cutting being sought by management – the ballot yielded a vote of 92.4 per cent for any industrial action and just under 75 per cent for strike action.
The ballot question was about a “failure to address health and safety concerns raised in August”.
