A REPORTER at the Edinburgh Evening News is to join the Scottish Daily Mail, as a political reporter.
With Stuart Nicolson leaving the Mail to become a special adviser to First Minister, Alex Salmond, Alan Roden is to hook up with John Robertson at the Scottish Parliament.
At the Evening News, he is City Council reporter. And he is not the only one to be leaving: Herald and Post editor, Gail Milne, has been appointed editor of the Glenrothes Gazette.
And while sports reporter, Mark Bonthrone, is said to be headed for New York (allmediascotland.com has yet to determine for what), feature writer, Sarah Howden, is going freelance.
Howden’s departure joins that of fellow feature writer, Linda Summerhayes.
