SCOTTISH journalist and broadcaster, Andrew Marr, was among the winners at the BAFTA Television Awards in London last night for his ‘History of Modern Britain’ series on BBC Two.
The award was in the ‘Best specialist factual programme’ category.
The top ‘Current affairs’ award went to Channel 4 for ‘China’s Stolen Children – A Dispatches Special’, while Sky News took the prize for ‘Best news programme’, for its coverage of the Glasgow Airport terrorist attack.
