SCOTTISH photographers are being invited to take part in a competition now 20 years old, showcasing the work of both themselves and colleagues in the north of England.
Says ‘Shot up North’: “From its start as an ad hoc exhibition in a former fire station to a highly respected and firmly established event on the photographic calendar, Shot up North has come a long way in twenty years. So have its photographers, both emerging and established.”
Among the prizes on offer is to have one’s pictures selected among the ‘best’ 50, which will then appear in a physical exhibition, in a dedicated book, and on the web.
Entries open on the first of next month.
