A SCOTTISH Sunday Mirror reporter is moving back to the cut and thrust of dailies – this time with The Scottish Sun.
It is understood Gill Smith will become features editor, to work alongside associate editor, Peter Cox, at Queen Street in Glasgow, in what will be a return to News International. She was previously a reporter at the News of the World.
Smith is said to have played a pivotal role in operations at the Sunday and her departure is sure to leave a huge void in a small team where she helped it consistently ‘punch above its weight’ with a string of exclusives.
