“HEALTH and safety,” screamed the normally mild-mannered Richard Gordon, anchoring BBC Radio Scotland’s coverage last night of the Scotland versus Croatia friendly football international.
It was at half-time, just as the pundits were beginning to get upset at reports of fans being delayed getting into the stadium.
At which point, the public address system blasted out music so loud, that Gordon – among others – was clearly afraid for their hearing.
It’s one way to gag media debate, we suppose.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw.
