A TWO-times Oscar-nominated screenwriter has been lined up to appear at the Glasgow Film Festival, which kicks off in the middle of next month.
John Sayles – whose writing of Lone Star (1996) and Passion Fish (1992) earned him the prestigious nominations – is attending Glasgow with his partner and producer, Maggie Renzi.
He will introduce his latest film, Honeydripper, and participate in a masterclass with festival co-director, Allan Hunter. One of his latest movies, The Spiderwick Chronicles, will be receiving its UK premiere at the festival.
The festival begins on the 14th of next month; the masterclass is two days later.
