IT was not quite the perfect start to the first edition of stv’s new news magazine programme, which launched yesterday evening.
The five thirty show – preceding the more hard news, Scotland Today – began well enough, with a live interview.
But then it all started to unwind.
Instead of being treated to a preview of Scotland Today, viewers – at least in east, central Scotland – saw presenters, Stephen Jardine and Debi Edward, preparing to be cued in for their next piece, Jardine even giving a ‘well done’ thumbs up.
And then, it was back to the show. After 15 seconds of inadvertantly peeking behind-the-scenes.
