THE Scottish Press Awards has announced it is calling for entries for next year’s event, the 29th Scottish Press Awards.
Organisers, the Scottish Daily Newspaper Society, have also revealed the awards ceremony is to take place on April 17, where 22 category prizes will be up for grabs.
Says Bill Hutcheon, chair of the Editors’ Committee of the SDNS: “The industry has been at the forefront of reporting what can only be described as a historic news year for Scotland.
“The coverage of the changing political and economic Scottish landscape has been delivered with insightful precision and to great accolades.”
