POLITICAL party, the Scottish Greens, have appointed a new head of media and communications.
James Mackenzie succeeds George Baxter, who has become public affairs manager at Scottish and Southern Energy.
Mackenzie is a former press officer for the Scottish Refugee Council, and has worked on several elections for the Greens. Most recently, he was working for PR agency, Pagoda.
“It’s the job I’ve wanted to do for years,” said Mackenzie, of the appointment.
