OCTOBER saw across-the-board drops for national newspaper sales in Scotland, compared to the previous month – according to the latest circulation figures.
The ‘ABCs’ for October reveal an average net circulation of 404,347 for The Scottish Sun – as opposed to 411,753 in September – and 366,756 for the Daily Record – compared to 373,702 the previous month.
Meanwhile, the Sunday Mail continues to be the biggest-selling newspaper in Scotland, but its average was also down, from 468,735 in September to 466,073 last month.
