TWO TV production companies from Glasgow are among 13 to have been accepted on to a training programme to help them develop their research capacity.
It follows a decision by TRC (formerly known as The Research Centre), which describes itself as “the UK’s leading training agency for talent and business development within the creative content industry”.
The two Glasgow companies are Autonomi and Clarity Productions.
The TRC is backed by Channel 4 and the BBC and its researcher development programme (RDP) is designed to help independent production companies address the problem of attracting, developing and retaining key research talent and strengthening their R&D capacity.
It is for companies based in the so-called ‘nations and regions’, ie outside London.
