THE website of The Scotsman newspaper has added another service to its roster: births, deaths, marriages and other family announcements.
The site, which enjoys some four million unique users per month, still allows families to include their notices in the newspaper.
But what appears on www.scotsman.com will remain there for almost a year to, says The Scotsman, allow friends and family around the world to keep up-to-date.
There is a facility too for visitors to leave a message.
