Actually, a BBC source had alerted Spike to this story some time ago, but, shamefully, it was not followed up.
But while Spike might have easily beaten some Sunday media to its tale, of two days ago, of female staff being reluctant to use unisex loos at BBC Scotland’s new HQ, in Glasgow (and therefore being prepared to walk some distance to use women-only ones), it’s not sure it could have out-scooped the Scottish Daily Express which carried pretty much the same story on… er, June 7.
