SCOTTISH filmmakers can look forward to a simpler application process when seeking funding from the national screen agency, Scottish Screen.
Included among changes to the process is a scrapping of deadlines for applications; except for a few occasions, from now on, applications will be invited on a continual basis.
Also promised is less documentation requiring to be completed.
And to assist prospective applicants, Scottish Screen staff are hosting seminars on the new system – taking place tomorrow and Wednesday.
Both sessions will be taking place at 3pm at the Scottish Screen headquarters in Glasgow. But there is a maximum of 40 places available at each one.
