NOT many writers have two books published in successive weeks – especially on such diverse subjects as football and politics. So, Scotland on Sunday columnist, Tom Brown, should feel pretty pleased with himself.
Last week, he was celebrating the publication of ‘Marvellous Marvin – The Life, Football and Faith of a Soca Warrior’, which he co-wrote with the book’s subject, Marvin Andrews.
And Luath Press have scheduled a press launch – today, in Edinburgh – of ‘Scotland – The Road Divides (New Politics, New Union)’, which Brown has penned, along with former First Minister, Henry McLeish.
Brown – a long-term ally of Prime Minister, Gordon Brown – might be slightly bemused by the advance publicity, which has been headlined: ‘UK in Danger from Westminster’.
