FORMER Government minister, Brian Wilson, is swapping Whitehall for the lecture hall, after having been appointed Honorary Visiting Professor in the Caledonian Business School at Glasgow Caledonian University.
Mr Wilson – who, as a young man, helped launch the West Highland Free Press – will take up the post in October, teaching on a number of topics such as journalism, media writing, political communication and media ethics.
He will also deliver the first in a proposed series of annual lectures open to the public.
