FILMMAKERS are being invited to submit work to a festival taking place in Glasgow – aiming to promote positive attitudes to mental health.
The festival, in October, is to comprise around 30 arts and film events throughout the city. It is being organised by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, the Mental Health Foundation, and the ‘see me’ campaign.
Say the organisers: “If you are a filmmaker or community group that has a film exploring mental health then consider our film competition. The core purpose of the films that we intend to screen is to raise awareness and tackle the stigma of mental health problems, and to promote understanding of people’s rights and recovery.”
Films have to be submitted by the fifth of next month.
