Film fest countdown – at four

THE countdown has already begun, towards the opening night of the Edinburgh International Film Festival, and allmediascotland.com – in association with national screen agency, Scottish Screen – will be bringing you what it considers to be the top ten Scottish elements of the festival. So, in at number four…

4 – Scottish Shorts

Says Scottish Screen: “A well-respected cinema programmer once said that a good short film will tell a better story in four minutes than many Hollywood movies can tell in 90. We love short films and the best can be seen as part of the UK Shorts screenings. Look out for Shell, a Scottish road movie by emerging writer/director, Scott Graham, and Dog Altogether, Paddy Considine’s visceral debut behind the camera.”
