IT started as an university project, became a snappy slogan, and now is appearing on the sides of local buses and on local radio. A student at Napier University, in Edinburgh, has had her work snapped up by the city’s zoo.
Victoria Fulton’s ‘Spend the Day. Save Tomorrow’ slogan follows an approach by Napier lecturer, Susie Henry, that the zoo be the focus of a final year project by eight of her students.
Says Fulton of the zoo picking her suggested campaign, for real: “I was so excited to work on this project for the zoo. I grew up in Edinburgh and it has always been one of my favourite places to visit.
“I have the utmost respect for its efforts in conserving animals threatened by extinction and hope my advertising will draw attention to this vital work.”
