FOR those who just can’t get enough of hearing movie directors discussing their work, immediately in the wake of the Edinburgh International Film Festival, a capital cinema is hosting question-and-answer sessions with two of the world’s best-known directors.
Albeit they are live links via satellite, rather than in person, the sessions are with Quentin Tarantino and Ken Loach. And both are taking place at the Cameo Cinema: Tarantino on the ninth of next month, followed by Loach on the 13th. Both sessions are being beamed from London.
The Q&A with Tarantino is being preceded by a screening of his latest movie, Death Proof, while the Loach Q&A – where he will be accompanied by writer, Paul Laverty – will involve a screening of his new film, It’s a Free World.
The EIFF is taking place between the 15th and the 26th.
