IT was the Royal Highland Show last weekend and the PR company for Haggis makers, MacSween, was needing a photographer, to take shots of a giant haggis appearing at the event.
Says snapper, Rob McDougall, Edinburgh-based Great Circle Communications did a search of the allmediascotland.com directory of media contacts.
He takes up the story: “They did a search of the directory of AMS and found myself [here], liked what they read in the biog parts and liked the sample images which are on the AMS site.
They were also able to see that my skills matched up to what they were looking for. I have had several referrals from the site for work, which shows that it is definitely worthwhile signing up.”
