AS well as being about to move to new headquarters, the organisation that represents chief police officers in Scotland is to get a new head of communications – a former Herald reporter.
The Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland is moving on Monday to 26 Holland Street in Glasgow.
And from the second of next month, its communications manager is to be David Steele.
He succeeds Stuart Wilson, who has gone to head up communications and public affairs at Inverclyde Council, and arrives after a PR stint for Lanarkshire NHS Trust.
