THE Times Scotland is launching Alba, a new weekly lifestyle section covering travel, food and drink, outdoors, events and entertainment – all from a Scottish perspective.
Overseen by Gabriella Bennett, The Times Scotland’s lifestyle correspondent, it will be published on Saturdays in print and online, and the first edition will appear on February 1.
As well as coverage of general lifestyle news and events, Alba will feature a weekly restaurant review from Chitra Ramaswamy, a drink of the week supplied by bars and pubs around Scotland, and travel pages covering both staycations and foreign travel.
There will also be weekly contributions from Gabriella Bennett, Michelin-starred chef, Tom Kitchin, and Peter Irvine.
