ARGUABLY the star of the hit movie, ‘Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’, has been appointed a patron of the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
Tilda Swinton joins Sir Sean Connery as a patron of what is the longest continually-running film festival in the world. The appointment was made at its Cannes equivalent, by artistic director, Hannah McGill, and managing director, Ginnie Atkinson.
Said Swinton: “Edinburgh is not only home to the most rocking arts festivals on the planet, it’s the nearest thing I have to a home town.”
