ONE of Scotland’s top chefs is to present the long-running BBC Scotland rural affairs programme, Landward.
Nick Nairn will be the new face of the show – alongside Ken Rundle, Euan MacIlwraith and new addition, Sarah Mack – when it returns for a new series, on BBC TWO Scotland, on the first of next month – a Friday.
That represents a new timeslot for Landward, which was previously broadcast on a Sunday.
Says BBC Scotland: “Famed for his staunch support of top quality Scottish produce and a passionate advocate for healthy eating, each week Nick will climb the farm gate to showcase the best of the Scottish countryside.
“The Landward team will also meet farmers, crofters and rural businesses, exploring the environmental, political and technical issues which impact on Scotland’s countryside.”
