HE was responsible for a large chunk of Saturday’s Herald – with the splash, an inside page lead and an article in the magazine. But Martyn McLaughlin is soon off, to pastures new.
The 27 year-old, considered one of The Herald’s rising stars, has landed himself a senior reporter’s post at rivals, The Scotsman.
These are changing times at The Herald – what with the launch yesterday of a daily sports supplement (reported on Spike some weeks ago) and various re-casting of staff (again reported on Spike).
