A DEBATE on an online chatroom, coinciding with the first birthday of a Scottish radio station, has received as many ‘views’ and replies as the station received in calls.
It is understood that Edinburgh-based all-speech station, talk107, received around 1,900 calls on Valentine’s Day – the first anniversary of its launch.
Meanwhile, on the forum of the website ukRadio.com, the number of views was 1991 (as at 07.30 this morning), while the number of replies was 98, with one user, ‘The Sparkle’s Back!’, particularly upbeat about the station’s fortunes.
