WM Stephens (Bakers) Ltd has been named as the Scottish regional winner of the Craft Bakery Business Award 2018.
The award was presented by celebrity host, Stephen Mulhern, at the prestigious awards ceremony organised by British Baker, a trade magazine that aims to recognise and honour dedicated individuals and inspirational businesses at the annual event. For 31 years, the Baking Industry Awards have been a symbol of quality and excellence in the baking industry.
“We are delighted to have been recognised as the best in Scotland. This award very much belongs to all our hardworking teams who make it happen every single day,” said sales development manager, Talia Sarafilovic, who collected the award along with operations manager, Jordan Hodgson.
“At 145 years old, we are very proud of our history but we constantly strive to innovate and bring new ideas to the market. Our most recent venture opening Scotland’s first drive thru bakery was a great success,” said Jordan. “Our success is only possible with the support of our loyal customers – so a big thank you to them!”
This great achievement builds on their recent success where they were crowned Retail Craft Baker of the Year at the annual Scottish Bakers Awards Ceremony in May 2018.
