THE Scottish BAFTAs on Sunday are unlikely to be the last occasion this year when Scottish film and TV feature at the heart of an awards ceremony.
A fortnight tomorrow, the cream of British independent filmmaking gathers in London for the ninth annual British Independent Film Awards.
And various Scots are among the nominees, including Michael Caton Jones, Kevin Macdonald, Tony Curran, James McAvoy, Tom Vaughan and producers, Susan Nickalls and Angela Murray, whose ‘At the End of the Sentence’ is in the running for the Best Short Film prize.
