JOHNSTON Press, the multimedia news organisation, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Andrew Sumner as its new Group Commercial director.
Andrew joins Johnston Press from Monster Worldwide, the global online employment solution, where he spent five years as managing director for the UK and Ireland, responsible for sales, marketing and operations. Prior to that, Andrew held director roles at telecommunications companies Easynet, Reliance Globalcom and Cable & Wireless.
In his new role, Andrew will have responsibility for all sales channels, sales operations and the ongoing evolution of the company’s sales operating model.
Andrew will join Johnston Press in April and will be based in the company’s head office in London.
