NEWS that Lesley Riddoch is to return to broadcasting on BBC Radio Scotland – reported in the press on Friday – one of her projects is to involve Scotsman and Scotland on Sunday columnist, Paul Stokes.
The pair are to work on Scotch Myths, a 13-part series using the 300th anniversary next year of the Treaty of Union between Scotland and England as a chance to investigate so-called myths about the Scots, including our supposed meanness and superior education system.
Stokes, an Englishman, will provide the ‘Sassenach’ view.
The series, produced by Riddoch’s Feisty Productions Ltd, will run between January 2 and March 27.
