THE legal services matchmaker, LawBid.co.uk, has made a breakthrough win for Innovation at the Law Society in Birmingham Awards.
LawBid, the intuitive service that helps clients reach solicitors and get the help they need, and helps solicitors grow their businesses, has won the Innovation Category at the Law Society in Birmingham Awards (Thursday, 8 March).
The award recognises the growing contribution LawBid.co.uk has made in making legal services more accessible and more affordable to the public, while making it possible for legal firms to cost-effectively grow their own businesses.
The LawBid.co.uk platform also addresses the widely-recognised need for digital engagement in the legal services sector.
Kid Harwood, the Manchester-based solicitor who founded LawBid.co.uk, said the award was the proof that, as a business sector, the legal services professions were moving further into the digital age.

The Innovation Award came as the Birmingham Law Society celebrated its bicentenary in front of more than 550 people at the city’s International Convention Centre.
