THE number of people with access to digital TV continues to grow, with the latest figures, produced by broadcasting regulators, Ofcom, showing that, between the end of March and the end of June, the percentage increase of households with digital TV had increased from 69.7 per cent to 70.2 per cent – ie some 17.7 million households.
The figure continues to grow as the date for switching all TV signals to digital continues to draw ever nearer.
Analogue TV signals are to be switched off in the English and Scottish Border region in two years’ time.
