PEOPLE are getting hooked on the Farmers’ Market being held at a popular garden centre.
That’s certainly the case if this photograph of six year-old Aimee Carlin, from Paisley, is anything to go by.
Aimee got the fishing rod out and had a laugh with Willie MacDonald, from Oban-based Alba Seafood, who will travel to Cardwell Garden Centre, near Gourock this Sunday, August 27 with his selection of fresh fish for sale.
He’ll be at the Cardwell Farmers’ Market between 11am and 4pm along with a host of other stalls selling fresh produce, including meat, vegetables, cheeses, cakes, jams and confectionary.
Cardwell’s general retail manager, Paul Carmichael, said: “Our Farmers’ Market on the last Sunday of every month has really grown in popularity since it started a few months ago.
“With the large number of different stalls we have, we’re now one of the biggest farmers markets in the west of Scotland.
“As well as grabbing some fabulous fresh produce, you’ll also leave with a smile on your face.
Everybody has a bit of fun with great banter from the stallholders, as you can see from our photograph of Aimee and Willie MacDonald.
“There’s always find some-fin you’ll fancy at our Farmers’ Market!”
