The Courier is read by more than 150,000 people every day and produces a website which attracts almost one million people a month.It was also named UK regional newspaper of the year in 2016.
Now, we need a senior reporter to help us ensure our customers get the best stories, the finest analysis and the most up-to-date news for their area.
Working as part of a close-knit team and taking direction from the newsdesk, you will work accurately and creatively to tight deadlines.
We don’t want you to be chained to your desk, so you will be out and about bringing your stories to life.
You will also be self-motivated and driven to source exclusive stories of a high standard
You will also be expected to use social media to promote our content and source stories.
This is a full-time position for 35 hours per week, working from our Meadowside Office.
