No Nonsense Productions in association with Beacon Arts Centre
It’s A Wonderful Life, by Tony Palermo
AFTER five sell-out years, It’s A Wonderful Life returns to Greenock’s Beacon Arts Centre from the 20 – 23 December.
For the first time, the Beacon is taking the show out on tour to Harbour Arts Centre (Irvine), The Tower (Helensburgh), Òran Mór (Glasgow), Tolbooth (Stirling) and Johnstone Town Hall.
The heart-warming American family classic, It’s a Wonderful Life, is brought to the stage as a live 1940s radio play. Six actors, including River City’s Tom Urie, play radio actors, who, in turn, portray ALL the characters of everyone’s favourite Christmas film.
Featuring live sound effects and live music from Johnny and The Jingle Belles, this performance is a rare opportunity to see how a 1940s radio broadcast was produced.
